Brios Restaurant Leeds
Brios Restaurant Leeds

Brios was for a long time (and quite possibly still is) our favorite Italian restaurant. It is situated centrally, not far from the front entrance to St James hospital. It has a cool, modern but comfortable interior, which is light and airy.
The food is excellent. I enjoyed my best fillet steak in Brios and I can also recommend the duck breast. Remembering Zucchini Fritti  as an accompaniment (courgette deep fried in Italian tempura style batter) also makes my mouth water. My partner and I fell in love, with the Chocolate Parfait.
The menu is excellent and varied, and although it is not cheap, it is doable. It is a sophisticated selection, and yet there is room for frivolous favorites like deep fried garlic mushrooms.
We have eaten at Brios on a number of occasions now, and I would find it hard to fault any aspect of this restaurant.
